Job description: Sales Support (24–40 hours)
As a Sales Support professional, you play a key role within the commercial process of FB Hout. You ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, so our customers worldwide can rely on professional and dependable service.
You are the first point of contact for customers and communicate with them daily via phone and email. You answer questions, think along in solutions, and make sure everything is arranged down to the last detail. In this role, it is important that you enjoy customer interaction. Afraid of the phone? Then this is not the right fit for you.
You support the sales team by processing orders, preparing quotations, and monitoring delivery times. In addition, you continuously coordinate with internal departments such as planning and production to ensure that agreements are met.
No two days are the same: you keep an overview, switch quickly, and ensure that processes run efficiently while keeping customers satisfied.
Key responsibilities
- Answering customer inquiries via phone and email
- Maintaining close customer relationships (national and international)
- Preparing and following up on quotations
- Processing and checking orders
- Monitoring delivery times and coordinating with planning and production
- Identifying and resolving process deviations
- Keeping the CRM system up to date
- Supporting the sales team in the commercial process

Required qualifications and education
- Completed MBO/HBO degree (preferably in a commercial or administrative field)
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Good command of Dutch and English (German is a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and preferably CRM systems, ideally Exact Globe, Sumatra, and Synergy
